Update: I've upgraded my rating to 3 stars instead of 2 because the company's customer service is top notch. They contacted me about my purchase which has a 12 month warranty and sent me a new kit free of charge. It's autumn now and I'm very cloudy, so I won't be able to really test this new set until spring. I will give an update when I can get this new set out. Fingers crossed. 1st purchase: I tried to put the solar cell in direct sunlight for several days and even changed the location. I unplugged it and charged it separately and connected it to flashlights while charging. I can't get it to work and turn on the light. I tried everything, every button and total darkness. Nothing worked. We have the only outdoor solar spotlight and lamp that work so I can't figure out why these lamps don't work. I like the look and the fact that these are plastic bulbs, but now they're just decorative.
