We upgraded all the lighting in our house and chose these switch covers from Lutron. They are definitely attractive. But they are expensive and capricious. As we painted after the electrician finished the job I was warned to be very careful when removing the panel as the teeth holding the front of the panel could easily break. So I was VERY careful when I did it, but I saw how you could break your teeth. Unlike panels with visible screws, you must remove the bezel if you need to adjust the height or depth. Without going into too much detail, setting the level and depth correctly was more difficult than with traditional rubbers. Price? I found the price of these plates outrageous and I would estimate that they cost less than 50 cents and most other overlays are no more than $1-2. But we pay the price for vanity, don't we? That's what my wife wanted, so I just paid for it. If you don't mind paying and don't mind messing around or paying someone else to install them, by all means buy them. You look good. Will I walk this path again? Maybe just because we had invested $3,000 in electrical work, so we were already heavily involved financially in the project. Would I switch to these records just to have a different look? no
