Wonderful, first class lens, about half the weight and half the length of a 70-210 f/4 beer can and equal or nearly equal in image quality. I tested it on a Sony A99 (24MP full frame camera). I've found myself running out of pixels before sharpness is my benchmark for lens sharpness. Use the flash indoors and fast shutter speeds outdoors and you'll be amazed at the sharpness and clarity of this lens with great colors. Use f/8 if you can. This lens is not a full analog of the 70-210 f/4, but it comes very close, being much smaller and lighter. At the prices of these lenses today, you can afford one of these lenses, use this if weight and size are a concern. I didn't notice any flaws or flaws during testing.
