These containers are perfect for a new bronzer that I dropped and broke into pieces. Putting the pieces in this container actually made it more convenient as I can put some bronzer on the brush and pat the excess back into the container so there is no waste. I used the second one for my broken eye shadow. Apparently one day I had a slippery finger and kept dropping things. It's not cheap. I gave it three stars for travel because it has a compact perimeter size with an extra 1-1/2 inches of height. Too big to be considered travel size in my opinion.
