They work as intended
They work as a Ptesta to Schrader bicycle tire inflation valve adapter. You open the Presta valve by unscrewing (DO NOT REMOVE) the valve. Then slide the adapter over the free valve pin and screw it tight. You can now use a regular tire inflator to inflate tires, you leave the included adapter and use the included Schrader valve cap. The internal Presta valve remains open.
