Review on Dorman 590-626 Park Assist Camera: 📷 Enhanced Visual Aid for Kia Soul Models by Tim Surridge

Installed on my 2013 Kia Soul+. The original rear camera stopped working, guides appeared on the screen, but the image itself was just black. I wasn't sure how the black would look with my red car, but since it has a black accent it works pretty well. Better yet, the dealer offered me $400 for repairs as they would need to paint to match. I was expecting the project to be a lot more complicated than it was, especially since I'll have to figure it out along the way (I couldn't find instructions anywhere online). It probably only took me about 30 minutes to do this, and I don't have as much experience with a car as being able to change the oil myself. It turns out that the old camera is somehow corroded (as is the old battery). I took photos along the way and uploaded the basic instructions as an image in the hope that it will give others the confidence to attempt this repair themselves. Much luck :-)
