Repair takes two minutes. Two screws remove the plastic trim, snapping a pair of yellow plastic clips for the Christmas tree trims. Disconnect the old block, connect the new one to test. If it works, disconnect the new block and screw in two 13mm nuts. Use a 6 inch extension cord and wire it appropriately. Replace the yellow clips on the fairing. Enjoy your camera.

It's not an OEM part but it fits perfectly. Very easy to assemble. Dealer offers 600€. Please do not pay these costs; Come direct to Revain and order this part. The tailgate inner panel has many clips and two screws. You have to pull hard. Some clips may be broken, but that's not a problem. The video quality is excellent and my wife finds it sharper than the original camera.

Opening the inside of the tailgate to access the cable connector was a little scary, but fairly easy. I recommend finding a video first if you can. The installation took less than 20 minutes in total. It works great and my daughter (bought it for her car) is very happy with the results. The installation took a few minutes longer because I wanted to make sure everything worked before I reinstalled the interior trim.

I bought this to replace my 2012 Kia Soul OEM backup camera! Once we figured out how to remove the rear panel from the sunroof it was easy to replace and once connected to the UVO shield it looks just like the original. The only thing I want is for it to be in the right colors. But the black looks elegant against the red of my car. :D Very happy with the purchase. It was very easy. The inner hatch cover came off with two screws and a little lever (several latches, see photo). I loosened the 2 screws holding the camera and disconnected the wiring harness. Pull out the old, put in the new. I was concerned because my original item didn't have 3D. but I dared it and it works great! My original part number was 95760-2k101. I put Dorman 590-626 on the secondary market. Works perfectly!

Installed on my 2013 Kia Soul+. The original rear camera stopped working, guides appeared on the screen, but the image itself was just black. I wasn't sure how the black would look with my red car, but since it has a black accent it works pretty well. Better yet, the dealer offered me $400 for repairs as they would need to paint to match.
