Review on Grit Guard Insert Red Diameter by William Fowler

I'm not sure why some people who just reviewed said it fits in 5 gallon buckets at Home Depot and Lowes. I've brought safety to both places and couldn't be more disappointed. None of them fit as can be seen in the attached photos. The protective cover could be installed almost to the bottom, about 3/4 inch from the bottom. For a blue Lowes bucket, it can drop about 2-3 inches off the bottom. However, the guard couldn't touch the ground, none of them. For people who saw this years ago, maybe HD and Lowes had different buckets? I've also tried this with Sear Craftman and Walmart buckets and got the same results. Another thing is that the two holes in the middle are too small. I'm a medium height person and my fingers couldn't fit in those 2 holes but I don't think it matters much. The size (diameter) of the guard needs to be slightly smaller to fit most 5 gallon buckets, although it may loosen a bit on larger bottom buckets. Again, this review is for testing with buckets from Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, and Walmart. I gave this one 2 stars as it may match buckets from other places. I'm not sure where else to find 5 gallon pails that will fit this shelter. I wish people who checked this were more careful so it can save people like me all the hassle.
