Received this evening and wanted to try it right away! We started collecting, it was well received. The clamp is quite small in length so I had to tweak it a bit (not much - I adjusted). Directions were ok. Not perfect, but I figured it out. Therefore there are 4 stars for the assembly. Ease of use: Cannot be used (hence not rated) as the attachment that cuts the pasta got messed up in transit (I assume it hasn't stayed that way). 2 Star Durability: I tried putting it back together but it was very delicate and I was afraid of bending/damaging the pieces and gave up. Then I enlisted the support of my husband because he sees very well what needs to be done and sees it through to the end. After checking the details, he began repairing what was delivered "unusable". After about 15 minutes he left because he couldn't get it back. The fragile pieces of thin metal were a little more than a little bent. I'm sending this back tomorrow because I'm not keeping a new pasta maker that's already having problems. It's not worth it. The overall 3 star rating was because I think it had real potential because it was compact and otherwise seemed solid, but I guess I'll never know. 100% totally disappointed with the result as I was dying to make pasta tonight! I think we will try another brand. back to studying pasta makers (and thinking about it, I thought those days were over). Hope the best of luck next time - fingers crossed!
