Review on Spectra Premium CU1390 Complete Radiator by Simon Nugroho

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Radiator compatibility

I bought this item based on the false claim that it was guaranteed to fit; and assuming that this will be the first attempt at assembly. Not correct! I have a 1996 Dodge Intrepid with a 3.5 liter engine. Well the new chrome fittings that come with the Spectra radiator will fit the new radiator but when trying to install/install it on a car they don't do it themselves so neither can together with at least one The two used are two pieces, not included. plastic bag in general. So I had to pull the Spectra cooler back out of the car and use the old cooler's OEM bracket/fixture to have any chance of success. Even then the alignment of the threaded holes on at least one of the mounting screws was out of balance and I had to struggle to line them up properly for centering etc. In the end I was able to put what I needed back in place for the machine to work. However, none of the metal chrome parts match my car. So there is a misconception that this Spectra Premium radiator is a perfect fit. My experience only relates to my car. To say that this is a guaranteed perfect match would be inaccurate and wrong in at least one area.
