Markers are too big and thick

I don't crochet, I use a lot of needles. I don't knit with thick yarn. These markers are too thick and too big for me. Marker Sizes: Small - ID 3/8", OD 5/8"; Large -1/2”, or 7/8”. Marking thicknesses range from 1/16 inch to 1/8 inch. The amount of each color is very uneven: from 4 to 12. The good thing about felt-tip pens is that they are six-colored and the tips are not sharp.
