I have an earring with cartilage of 3 stones from the same stone in the other ear. I figured I could get it in my ear by pushing the rod up to the rocks in one hole and sticking the other side of the rod in the other hole while it's fully inserted (if that makes sense lol), but it did not work. I tried for quite a long time and made my ear very red in the process lol (as you can see in the picture 😆) but not to the bone. I don't know if my piercing is angled or what, but I couldn't get the other side of the bar into the other hole, and the stones don't move on that one. I was able to get another one with beads in the center (see second picture) by performing the maneuver above because the beads move on this one. I personally like the length of these rods as I like the more defined look. I have big ears so I don't think they look too big so they are the perfect length for me. Overall I'm sorry the ones I bought this set for didn't fit, but they're still good value at $11 so I'll keep them.
