Review on Robot vacuum cleaner Neato Botvac D85 by Stanisaw Lewczuk ᠌

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Most likely these are tips for any robot vacuum cleaner: I don't have pets or people with long hair, so I'm not familiar with the problem of hair clogging my brushes. On the first day after the purchase, I watched how it works and what hinders it. Now I pre-clean what can interfere with the vacuum cleaner. Namely: 1. He doesn't like rags on the floor. Thin bed rugs. Long curtains that drag across the floor (get tangled) or fall into the field of view of his laser gun (will think they are an obstacle). 2. It is also better to remove the wires. 3. There is no need to specially leave garbage on the floor. Garbage compartment and so small. 4. So that the HEPA filter does not clog so much, I cut out a grid on its inner surface (I made it from mosquito window mesh). It has become easier to clean. Such a grid is on a newer model of a vacuum cleaner.

Pros
  • Smart vacuum cleaner! It does not stupidly ride around the room, bumping into obstacles, but first passes along the perimeter along the plinth, and then cleans inside it with a snake. Gently drives around furniture, does not beat on it. There is a cleaning schedule for every day at a certain time. But only one cleaning per day. Cleans up well. I thought that the house was clean, and the vacuum cleaner collects a full garbage compartment of dust and lint.
Cons
  • 1. It must be cleaned every time after cleaning. The HEPA filter is clogged. 2. The trash compartment is not very big. 3. Expensive. 4. The upper black glossy surface was scratched by obstacles.
