When I used a damp sponge to clean my soldering iron tip while working on my HO train my work looked very sloppy and very unprofessional. Since I switched to my Alyson Tech Cleaner soldering iron tip, my work still looks very unprofessional and is still very sloppy. But my soldering iron tip looks great and is very easy to clean.
