I love these candles

I love the look of candles, but not the fire danger and soot, so realistic battery candles are the answer. I have these same candles in red, love them both. These white ones show some light thru the upper part of the candles, not just in the 'flame', which looks realistic. The flame looks like actual fire. I like the flat tops because the flame shows from all directions. I can control both the red and the white candles with one remote.I've had these candles lit on the brightest setting for several hours every day for a couple of months, haven't had to change the batteries yet. The flames appear to be getting less bright, so I'll probably replace the batteries in the next couple weeks.

Pros

Create the illusion of a traditional wood-burning fireplace without the mess and hassle of real wood

Cons

The flameless candles may not be as energy-efficient as advertised
