After reading the reviews, which were very contradictory, I decided to buy this lens all the same. Before this lens, I used Helios 44m, 44m-4, 44m-6 (52 mm), 40-2 (85 mm), Jupiter 37A (135 mm), industrial 50-2, canon 50mm F1 / 8 II, canon 28-80 mm F 3.5-5.6 in conjunction with the Canon 600d at the beginning, and then the Canon 5d Mark II, and what I want to note is that 24-105 IS LESS TO THEM IN PICTURE QUALITY, and itβs not about crooked hands, believe me, he shoots the same way, like a whale 28-80, and sometimes worse, but then a whale costs a penny. Lens 24-105 should not bear the letter L, it is not worthy of being called professional. Video shot at 28-80 is many times better and more pleasant than with 24-105 with equal components. Yes, there is no stabilizer, yes - the focal spread is not so convenient, but . and a video picture from any helios, or even more so Jupiter, simply tramples on the vaunted Japanese glass. Someone will say - they say this is a fix and all that - yes, I agree a fix, it conveys what it sees better, but excuse me - "PROFESSIONAL GLASS" it would be more relevant than Soviet glass at least in terms of color, but no. Again, you can color the vidos for post-processing? yes, you can, but the result will be worse than a stock video from a fifty dollars or a helios. In photography, everything is stable, if there is good lighting, then it is very watchable and juicy, in poor lighting or in cloudy weather you need to use a flash, just like indoors, because even a raised ISO does not save and the result of photographing without a flash is, to put it mildly, not very dark he, and the bullied iso makes its own adjustments. Conclusion - if you have extra money that you donβt mind buying this lens - take it, but donβt expect miracles from it, it wonβt allow you to draw artistically.
