Review on 🔗 Blisstime Cast Iron Cleaner: Premium 316 Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber with Silicone Insert for Perfectly Clean Cast Iron Skillet Pans by Valerie Jones

First time you say I like to research items before I buy them. I looked at probably 20 similar topics before finally settling on this one. Brief Story = This chain mail and silicone sponge is amazing and allows you to clean your cast iron skillet without soaking up all the oil from the skillet and messing up your cloth sponge or washcloth. Easy to grip due to the thickness of the sponge and doesn't slip out of hand like normal chain mail scrubbers should, easy to clean, removable sponge with two chain mail clasps (hard to find at first), product much heavier than I expected. Long story = Many silicone and chain sponges are thinner than sponges. This is thick and comfortable to grip. It's also a waffle silicone design that allows food and dirt you scrape off the pan to pass through the sponge as you scrub. I was consciously trying to find one that food could pass through rather than getting stuck on the sponge. I was also trying to find one that I could pull the sponge out of the post through. Most don't have the ability to remove the sponge from the mail. I thought it would be cool not only to be able to swap out the sponge if I ever need it (which I don't intend to do as this sponge is very heavy), but also to be able to easily clean it. Although it may be better than a cloth sponge in antibacterial terms. I'm pretty sure I can still get food dirt in there if you don't clean it up. This particular product has two clips on the side where you can open the mail to take out the sponge. I have seen many reviews on other products that say if you only have one fastener the sponge can accidentally slip out. After using the sponge I fully understood how it could be and the two clasps perfectly keep the sponge in the post. I've also seen a lot of reviews saying it's very difficult to grab and get a good scrub when you're using cleansers that are literally just a sponge. This product was definitely strong enough for me to get a good grip on and clean the pan when needed. This product was a little heavier than I thought it would be. It weighs 5.01 ounces and I was surprised at how durable it seemed. I tried to take a photo to show you how thick it is in my hand and to show you what the two clasps look like. I spent a lot of time researching this before buying it as it is an expensive sponge compared to a cloth sponge. But I enjoyed cooking in my cast iron skillets so much and thought it would be a great addition to keep them clean and in great shape. so far i am very satisfied with my purchase. As long as everything stays as it appears, I think the sponge will last for years.
