I wanted a basic corkscrew and this one had a great rating, but what a disappointment it turned out to be. First impression: it's flimsy and feels like plastic; second impression: it does not remove corks cleanly. It handles synthetic corks fine, but it crumbles even perfectly good real corks and doesn't move them even a millimeter out of the bottleneck. The company did provide excellent customer service though. They refunded me and offered to send a new corkscrew for free.
