I took it specifically to indulge in a virtual synthesizer for the iPad. Basically the piano. The sound is good. I didn't have to use the volume to its fullest. A pronounced hiss in complete silence, which is what the speakers do, is not audible. Outside noise is not completely isolated. It's good when you're alone in the apartment, you can not miss a phone call or a fire :) In terms of isolation, everything is quite interestingly done. For example, with an open window, the noise of the city is absolutely not audible in these ears: the noise of cars, birds, construction noise, etc. (St. Petersburg). However, in some cases, you can clearly hear the conversations of people (I went to the doctor, I have not yet been diagnosed with schizophrenia, I have a certificate). It was even scary at first. You sit to yourself, do not touch anyone, and then bam, some kind of mumbling in your ear. I thought the neighbors, but no, from the street (by the way, 8th floor). But against the backdrop of city noise without ears, people's conversations are almost inaudible. The same is true with TV. If you turn on the TV in the room and turn the volume down by opening the window so that the city noise muffles the sounds from the TV, TV will be heard perfectly in these ears. The head is not squeezed, does not hang out, you can easily adjust to your size. Good ears.
