Good "specific " BMW OBDII scanner, a little slow to respond, doesn't have all the codes

I think this is a good tree shadow scanner for a home mechanic or just want to get more information about your car at home. As with most similar scanners, just plug and play. Depending on the characteristics you want to scan or get more information, the car may or may not need to be started. This can scan every partition (my 2011 135i has 22), it won't scan them all at once for problems or DTCs. First you need to scan all possible modules until it determines what is related to your car and then you can go to each of them and look for DTCs. It will illuminate one of the 3 DTC lights once found. You can then see what it is, get an explanation (if the code is known), and have the option to clear the codes. You cannot delete a specific code, only the entire section that you are viewing. This can take about an hour going through each section looking for codes. I have other scanners that will go through everything and then show you problems (if you do a full scan). Also, it doesn't seem to remember your vehicle from use to use. As for the resets you can do, I haven't seen any that are different (perhaps fewer) than the ones you can clear with the standard turn signal buttons or iDrive if installed. For me the menu navigation is a lot slower compared to other scanners I have. If you're looking for something to code or enable features this isn't it as it's just a scanner. Also, this does not perform any TMPS functions other than displaying the pressure of each tire in millibars. No TPMS setup or reset (you need different hardware for that). It also doesn't come with a storage box, just a scanner, cable, and tiny printed manual. I guess I'll have to play with it a bit more to see if I'm missing anything, but I'm not overly impressed right now.
