I bought this because I liked old Macs with their maglock charging cable. Originally I needed two USB-C connectors so I could have one on my MacBook and iPad and then split the cable between them. I popped this into my MacBook with no problems, plugged in the magnetic lock and it charges. When I wanted to remove the cable from my MacBook, he removed the USB-C connector that is in my MacBook. I don't like everything that comes out. It's like the USB-C part isn't nice and tidy in the slot. Hence deducting the stars in my rating. Now let's get to my iPad. I connected it to my iPad and it seems like the male part of the magnetic clasp doesn't fit fully into my iPad, so when I put everything together my iPad doesn't charge. I've tried pulling it out and flipping it over and still the same problem, it doesn't fully connect to my iPad's USB-C charging port. For this reason I'm only giving 2 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ Overall I will continue to use it in my MacBook but will be careful when separating it so it doesn't fall out all the way. Maybe you want to try one of the others out there and see if it's better?
