didn't last long on heat lamps and terrarium mats
worked great right out of the box, however one failed/burned out after less than 5 hours of use. Didn't bang or shake or move or anything, just noticed the temperature dropped, checked and it turned itself off when I took it out, it made a little rattle that could be heard like a normal blown bulb.
