Wireless CarPlay works on my 2020 Chevy Bolt!

Carlinkit 2.0 works exactly as described. I plugged it in and followed the instructions on the dashboard screen and iPhone for a quick and easy setup. Although I have checked the firmware, it is clear that my device shipped with the latest version. After reading numerous reviews and watching YouTube videos, my expectations for the performance were frankly lower. So far, on the second day of using this product, I am very satisfied! This device connects quickly, typically within about 20 seconds after the car and factory infotainment are powered on. When I buckle up and get the car out of the garage, it's already running. Screen or mechanical controls of the infotainment system, but a slight delay is almost imperceptible. Today I decided to run two different navigation apps at the same time, Google Maps and Apple Maps, and also run Apple Music. All navigation instructions and on-screen map rendering were very smooth (I switched between the two map apps) and the sound quality was also near perfect (just note the occasional gaps in the audio stream). Other CarPlay standards work fine too, including Messages, and as with "wired CarPlay" before, the Siri voice assistant responds as expected with a push of a button on the steering wheel. The short USB-C cable that comes with the kit is a bit annoying. Unit. This cable connects and works just fine, but is only about 4 inches long and way too short. I bought a long, high-quality USB-C 4G cable and used it to plug my Carlinkit device into an inconspicuous place in the console bay. It's perfect! He will probably continue to perform. This begs the question...why wasn't my car originally equipped with this "wireless" CarPlay? Well I'm so glad this product comes out as the best Wireless CarPlay since the factory!
