This is exactly what I wanted, a 50 ounce or larger vacuum mug to keep my drink cold for a long time. This mug works way better than my former favorite Bubba Keg. This mug is made entirely of stainless steel except for the lid and handle. That means your drink touches stainless steel and not plastic. With all the fears of dangerous chemicals leaking into your plastic drink, stainless steel is far more desirable. I don't know if it keeps my drink cold for 24 hours because I drink it long before the 24 hours are up. What I do know for sure is that I can fill a cup with ice and water late in the afternoon and still have ice in the cup the next morning. In my Bubba Keg or other vacuum cup, the ice melted in the morning. It doesn't keep my drinks as cold as my Hydro Flask, but it's not technically a mug as they don't have a handle and are significantly more expensive. Unlike the other reviewer, the lid is solid, secure, and sealed. I inverted my full mug completely for a full minute and there were no leaks. Overall, this mug keeps my drinks colder longer than any large vacuum mug I've used (and it's been a lot), is airtight, and is of the highest quality. If you're looking for a large insulated mug to keep your drinks cold and don't mind a slightly higher price point than the competition, this is the mug for you.
