I took these locks on a trip to China. After reading about people challenging backpacks I thought these locks would be a good idea. They fit perfectly through my backpack's zippers and match my black backpack. The cable actually allowed me to thread it through the few zippers that there were. I received many additions about castles from other travelers. This saved me from carrying my backpack in front of me like many other locals and travelers do. I felt more confident walking in busy tourist areas, on public transport or in elevators. I was able to program combination locks with the same code, making them easier to remember. The locks themselves are very durable and seem strong. I asked the United States airline ticket office to put one of these locks on my luggage. She explained that since they were TSA approved they were fine and that they had a special key if someone needed to get in. I told her I thought it was just a trick and she assured me it was real. I highly recommend these locks!
