Works perfectly in my Buick enclave. My dog is angry about being strapped in the very back but won't touch my leather seats (the picture shows how crazy she is when tied up but also how successful she is when tied up). I agree that the barrier went up a bit so my dog couldn't stick his head in and my whole insides drooling, but I don't think there's a dog blanket that goes higher. It's easy to set up and has handles on the bottom to make it non-slip (which my dog appreciates!). It covers my console area and can be held in place using the window suction cups and velcro that comes with this product. I personally didn't want to use velcro because it requires a very sticky adhesive to apply to the inside of the car, but it works without.
