Wish I'd bought one of these before ! My friend is a coffee maniac. He probably drinks about marijuana a day by himself. I love coffee but I prefer it cold. So I tried to wait for his pot of brewed coffee to cool down but half the time he was gone lol. Sometimes I would brew a pot and put it in a jug in the fridge, but that would get a bit awkward. Enter this cold brew pitcher. Making cold coffee has never been so easy. I pour 18 tablespoons of coffee into the filter (I like my own stronger), pour 10 cups of water into the thickness, put it in the fridge for a day, then add 1.5 cups and 1/2 cup of sugar. and that's the ideal amount of cold coffee that will last me throughout my work week. I've had it for a few weeks and I just love it. I thought it might be one of those things that are cool new but not practical for regular use. You know. the things you use once or twice that end up in the closet? But I was wrong. Brewing and cleaning is so easy it won't even get stuck in the cupboard. As soon as I pour the last cup, I clean up very quickly and simply set up another pot the next day. I really love this shop. I've argued between this and Kitchen Aid, but this one cooks more than twice as much as even their "XL". So I'm glad I made that choice.
