Best 6 " Flex Scales
Starrett has long been known for making quality instruments but when it comes to 6" scales the only scales you can own are the 303R in .020/ 0.100 increments. All of them will last you a lifetime, but Starrett's 303R is the easiest to read in my opinion. For micrometers I choose Mitutoyo Digit, Interapid dial gauges, Starrett 303R 6 inch scales!
