This little item is great especially when you are working with a small bug bag. This radio runs on 3 AAA batteries and has a lithium-ion battery that can be charged from the start or charged with solar power. This radio also has two lights, one is pretty bright and the other is decent. The radio itself is pretty good for $20, it can even connect to local weather reports and AM or FM radio as usual. All in all, the thing offers a lot for twenty euros and can even charge USB devices. I think it would be great either for a bug bag or even for hiking and camping because it also has an SOS mode so if you get separated from a group you can make a loud siren and flash a red light .
