Great diffusing LED strips but they have some quirks. Firstly there is only one purple tone even though there are 3 different buttons on the controller for 3 purple tones. I had to match my other lights to this light. Also, these strips have some nifty "animated" lighting effects, but you can't control the brightness of the animated lights, they're always on at full brightness, which is incredibly bright in a dark room. If you choose a static color, you can control the brightness, which is nice. All in all these are great led strips, I think the biggest issue I had was with the light controller and not the light itself. If you use a motherboard to control your lights your experience may be different.
