Burnt out after approximately 100-150 hours of use
short lifespan. But for less than $20, it was worth trying. I installed it 8 months ago and have only really used it for the last 3 months and one of the bulbs has blown. I can guarantee that the bulbs did not come into contact with other surfaces during installation. My car's electrical system is stock, with no modifications that could shorten the life of the bulb. Looking at my average commute to work and factoring in other trips, the bulbs probably have between 100 and 150 hours of use. This corresponds to 16/25 minutes of work per day per year. Not overly impressive. If others hadn't had similar experiences, I would give them another chance.
