Review on HP 2711X 27 Inch LED Monitor: Height & Tilt Adjustment, Plus 3D Capability by Alberto Pagan

Very fast, I just wanted to come and review this product. Although I've only had it connected for a few hours, I think I'm 100% satisfied. No dead pixels, IT'S ULTRA THIN! It feels like I can hold it on my lap it's so thin and light. The power supply is outside of the monitor and I think that's the only downside. I don't particularly like the look of the cords, let alone the big black boxes. There is no audio jack, at least I didn't find one. Set up was easy, it works great, I think I've eliminated the need to buy a 30 inch Apple Cinema display with this monitor. Kind! my 6th HP Minotor. I'm a big fan of "Bright View". I like my paintings on the light side. The contrast is excellent. Of course, if you're not a fan of a bright monitor, you can turn it down. It's good to be able to render text fluently. I'm planning on buying a second one soon and it's nice to know that if I one day upgrade my system to even bigger monitors I can turn them into TVs since it has an HDMI port. updates. I was a bit hasty in my first review. Something you should know before you buy this monitor: 1. No speakers or sound at all. What a crap! I hate messing around with extra hardware. 2. No Vesa mount. You're going to have a really hard time figuring out how to attach this to a wall mount. Luckily it's really easy and you could I suppose use some very good double sided so e's (there are some really good things) to work with it .3. power supply outside. So a 4ft PC cord goes into the black box and then an additional 3ft power cord with a male connector on the end. I hate the! I love what Apple has done with their computer cables that keep the bulky part on the wall. I prefer this type of setup. This monitor doesn't leave you with a nice and tidy desk. BOOO!. i still love him I bought a second one.
