This is my fifth moka. I originally started using the Original Bialetti on a gas stove twenty years ago and then switched to other induction cookware. For such a large pot, I make perfect coffee in exactly five minutes. The water from the pan flows completely into the pot without dripping back, so there is no waste. Other pots were prone to leaking, leaving drips on the stove that needed cleaning. The seal of this mocha pot is wonderful, does not leak. More importantly, when pouring, water doesn't slosh out of the spout. Finally, the base cools down very quickly, so no more accidental burns from nearby sponges or oven mitts. BIG espresso machine.
