Review on Anivia 1080p HD Webcam W8 - USB Desktop Laptop Camera for Video Calling - Mini Plug and Play Computer Camera with Built-in Mic - Flexible and Rotatable Clip by Robert Aliraqi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It outperforms the Logitech C910 in some conditions but not others.

I bought this camera for YouTube Multi Camera Studio to make Kabuki Starship tutorials. This camera's default settings suck, but if you turn off auto exposure and set it to -5, the camera looks better than my Logitech C910. I'm deducting a star for a camera that uses a cheap USB chipset because it can only run 5 fps with Y'UV color, which increases video latency and increases the processing power required to decode the compressed feed, but most YouTubers do will never notice this I only notice because I'm an engineer. For the price, this is a great addition to a multi-camera setup. I've measured it has a 100-degree field of view, which is a bit narrower than 120-degree cameras; This makes this camera a useful tool to complement your other cameras. I would also suggest that you get a 120 degree camera and turn it on to entertain the audience. I personally like the colors and front camera angle of the Logitech C910 better than the C920 and W8, but the W8 looks pretty impressive next to the C910.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not all good
