Review on Xiaomi Mi ANC Type-C In-Ear Earphones by Bambang K Masruri ᠌

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

My headphones broke on a business trip, I had to buy new ones. I've been wanting to try active noise canceling for a long time. Initially, I aimed at Sony wi-1000x, but on the spot they cost indecently more than you can buy in Hong Kong, so I took MI ANC as a temporary solution that will allow you to feel what active noise reduction is. So, for noise reduction. It crushes the noise of the highway, the noise of the air conditioner, the hum in the office. Haven't tried the subway yet. Noise reduction does not crush the sound of water, squeaks, voice. And at first I thought that they let the voice through on purpose, but then I came across information about the noise reduction range. In general, a missed voice does not bother, but exactly until the moment when the driver on the bus turns on the music. At first, there were feelings that the noise canceler didn’t really work, but as soon as you turn it off, all its advantages become obvious) The noise canceler itself is very quiet, constantly and monotonously rustling during operation, which, in general, you almost immediately forget about. The sound. The voice is good - details, intonations are audible. The rest of the headphones allow you to enjoy the music, but do not enter into ecstasy. Perhaps the point here is not the headphones, but the device from which the sound comes (MI MAX 2), but with type-c there is no particular choice of sound source. Discomfort after prolonged use does not occur. Build quality. On the second day, before playing kicker, I put the headphones without a case in my back pocket, after the game I took it out and did not find the on / off button for the noise reduction. The button is in the pocket. I immediately put it back, and for 2 weeks now it has been sitting in place. Convenience. They lie very well in the ears, if not for the wire - one could forget about them. The wire is long, even a little longer than necessary (my height is 177cm). The shuffling of the wire against clothing is noticeable, but acceptable. The microphone is the only moment that infuriates! He constantly gets caught on the collar of his shirt! Plus, they regularly complain to me that they can hear me quietly. Eventually. In general, expectations are justified, their money is worth it.

Pros
  • Very comfortable. In the ears they sit like a glove (a bunch of rubber adapters are included, the noise isolation really depends on them). Active noise canceling. The remote control is convenient (except for the on/off button).
Cons
  • Microphone. Squelch range 50-2022 Hz.
