I've been using a gaming headset for years but wanted a little less fuss for quick audio captures. This microphone is great for its price. Compared to my headset, the sound quality is the same, but my voice sounds different (I like the ZekPro version of my voice better!) The voice is as good as a gaming headset, a few inches from my mouth. While I couldn't tell the difference between the two in terms of noise cancellation, the fact that a fan running nearby was no more than a headset mic was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to make simple recordings on their PC or for use in Skype, Discord and other voice chat programs. While I might not consider it "professional quality," I would recommend it to those who are just starting out in creating YouTube videos and similar media. Edited to correct spelling mistakes.
