I ordered these socks for my 11 year old son a few months ago. He suggested they were too big at first. Once he puts them on and wears them, he loves them. These are his favorite socks. As a kid he's rough and tough, and he can take it. They are of good thickness but not too thick. It's also nice that they don't collect everything like socks on the floor alone. He likes that they are not very low or high. Ideal for year-round living. He liked them so much we ordered a second pack. Mom also loves the Gold Toe brand.
