This was the perfect solution for mounting my Dell XPS 13 under my desk. ports and it's easy to remove the laptop if needed. Since I only use an ultra-wide monitor at home, it was important to be able to store my laptop when connected to the monitor to free up desk space. This was the only solution I found that suited my needs. Since the underside of my table is chipboard, I knew no bolt-on option would be stable. The adhesive on this device is STRONG. Take them seriously when they tell you to measure and test before removing the tape. If even one corner of the sticky surface touches the surface, it's permanent. There is definitely no way to change the position. I took their advice and gave the mount 72 hours to cure before putting the laptop inside. It's been holding up strong for a month, even with a warm laptop 24/7. Good product!
