Review on DII Paris Kitchen Textiles Apron by Heather Gonzales

Too small and cheap

Style: Eiffel Tower - Full Apron Being so francophile, this apron held so much promise for me. But unfortunately it does not live up to expectations for several reasons. The patterns on the print are cute and fun. Quirky but interesting. It is very nice. There are other things that are really very important, even though they weren't even considered in the query. First, although the sizing is said to be one-size-fits-all, it's made for a petite woman with a small chest. The length is ok but the top of the bib just doesn't fit. I never in my life thought a chest could actually lick the side of an apron. Although I have a bit more on my body, I'm not that tall. I usually wear L or XL with a 38DD bra. Full but not too big. It just looks sloppy to me. It really needs to be cut wider. The lower part of the apron with the apron could also be a bit wider, but it is hardly passable. They really are pockets that just aren't spaced far enough apart to make it look so downright dainty. If you then look at the apron as a whole, the bodice combined with what I just said about the skirt, you will see that this apron is definitely made for very petite women; not small, small, I don't like bags either. Despite being poorly placed, they look good. It's just that the tops are crumpled which makes it a bit difficult to use. Not just putting something on or taking it off quickly. They could be a bit bigger because they don't hold much or that wide. The material is very hard, which makes this apron not so comfortable. It might get softer after washing but to be honest it feels so cheap that I'm afraid to do it until I really need it. It definitely doesn't work in hot water. I would even be afraid to use warm water on this material as it cannot shrink. That's a pity too, since it's an apron that sometimes needs to be washed warm or even hot. Such a good ideal for design but cheaper construction and size.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not trendy
