Review on 🚴 Tiekoun Non-Slip Mountain Bike Pedals - Flat Road Cycling Bicycle Pedals [9/16 Inch] by John Jones

I installed them on a 2016 Motobecan Boris Evil Brut Jump. They replaced the usual cheap platform pedals. I normally use Speedplay Frog pedals on both mountain bikes and road bikes, but I wanted to make this fat bike a less serious, everyday off-road bike. After all, they weigh almost 40 pounds - I'm not going to win cross-country races with them. I'm glad I replaced them. They are grippy: when I ride platforms, I wear regular sneakers. These pedals grip the tread exactly the way you want them to. They're just the right size: not too big to cause drag issues when leaning into turns, but definitely larger than the average stock platform. It offers more support and space for your feet. They just feel better than the pedals they replaced. Small minus point: the bearings are tight and do not allow the pedals to rotate freely when new. Mine still won't spin freely. I hope and am pretty sure that (like all similar mechanical items) they will loosen and rotate more freely after prolonged use, but my pair hasn't done so yet. If this issue doesn't fix itself as expected, I'll update the review.
