Review on 🌡️ CrocSee 10K NTC Temperature Sensor Probe - 5 Meters by Matt Welch

I used it as an outside temperature sensor for my heat pump thermostat. It works well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wires are very good. I ran a standard thermostat wire (18 gauge solid) from the thermostat to the sensor. The sensor wires were so thin that it was difficult to strip them. When I soldered them to the thermostat wire I broke the sensor wire. I ended up having to put a jumper (heavier than the wire, smaller than the 18-ga) between them instead of trying to connect thin wires directly to the 18-ga. It works fine now, but I'd happily pay 20 cents more for the sensor if it had stronger wires.
