The product is ideal for replacing the original part. The only thing that was bad was the bracket that holds the hose to the filter and motor. The screw that tightens the bracket that goes into the motor needs to be on the top, not the bottom. It was difficult to tighten as it was at the bottom and on the side closest to the windshield. There's almost no room to tighten it with a screwdriver, and you can't see the screw either. You have to feel it with your fingers to even turn the screwdriver on. Also, you can't easily rotate the mount as it has a rubber notch that prevents the mount from rotating. This makes simple work considerably more difficult. This is a design flaw in the mount. That's why I gave 4 stars. But the thing works fine. I recommend removing the air filter housing first, removing the old hose and putting the new one on the filter housing before installing the engine side hose.
