This intake hose/pipe was of a higher quality than the stock ones which I would remove in the future if I need them for other vehicles.

It was supposed to be easy to install, but the clamp that came with it made it almost impossible to use. You either have to squirm and try to get to the screws on the back in the tightest of spaces, or you modify the clamp, which is also laborious, if you don't want to damage it. I ended up breaking the clamp. Hopefully the tie substitute doesn't melt.

Excellent replacement part. The design flaw is the little rubber tabs that hold the clamp in place. First, it's not really necessary, but the tab on the left is positioned to place the pinch bolt under the hose - out of sight and almost impossible to reach. above (like the OEM part). The product is ideal for replacing the original part. The only thing that was bad was the bracket that holds the hose to the filter and motor. The screw that tightens the bracket that goes into the motor needs to be on the top, not the bottom. It was difficult to tighten as it was at the bottom and on the side closest to the windshield. There's almost no room to tighten it with a screwdriver, and you can't see the screw either. You have to feel it with your fingers to even turn the screwdriver…
