I have fine, straight, shoulder length silver brown hair and purchased this set on the recommendation of my hairdresser. A disaster for my hair type. The first time I used it my hair got so tangled that I stood in the shower for 20 minutes trying to untangle all the knots. I had to use a different conditioner to make small gains. Stupidly, I tried again a week later, but this time I combed my hair very carefully before I showered to make sure it didn't get tangled. Still, as soon as the shampoo got in, I was in a mess again. It was so difficult to untangle that I ended up tearing severely, leaving dozens of short, curly hairs all over my head. I have informed my hairstylist of the problem so that he can warn others of the potential problems. Again, this can only happen to fine, straight hair, but it has caused a lot of damage that will take a long time to repair.
