This product is great for cutting PVC pipe. The problem is that with 1.5 and 2 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe, the cutter easily deforms the plastic at the cut. This makes it very difficult to glue the cut end to the pipe fitting. Oddly enough, I believe the product works as intended. I assume the manufacturer never cut the pipe and then glued it to the fitting? In any case, the real problem is that the seller wants me to pay for shipping and a 20% restocking fee. Will they stock a product that isn't working properly? Also, the product weighs about 20 pounds including shipping. I think the lesson is to be careful what you buy from Revain because of course you are not only dealing with Revain but also with "nameless" sellers who are unwilling to give someone a product back for free, what is not working properly.
