I got a used Unisaw but the guy kept his expensive blades so I ordered this 50 tooth combo blade because it's the same design as a Diablo blade (pretty sure these blades are also made by Freud) that I have on my working saw, except this blade has a full kerf. The seller told me the saw was aligned and ready to use. When I got home I measured everything, alignment was accurate on all measurements (all within 0.0015) except for the guard which was pulled 0.003 out of the back of the blade. I fired the saw up and the blade left horrible blade marks on the piece between the blade and the rest. There were marks on the back of the blade (swipe up) and marks on the front of the blade (swipe down). I've been messing around with the saw for about 2 days to get rid of the marks and everything I've tried hasn't helped. I ended up using the thin Diablo notch I had, set the fence to .003 and cut the 5/4 maple. No burn marks, no blade marks, just a sharp edge like it just came off a crevice. Maybe I got a bad one? In any case, I will NEVER waste money on a full-edged Freud blade again. I will use the Diablo series blades as they offer the best quality of cut.
