Review on 🌀 Travelon Foldable 3-Speed Fan - White, One Size by Maria Campbell

UPDATE: 6/8/13 - WARNING: Be very careful with this fan if you have medium or long hair. I used it outside and the wind was blowing and it was sucking my hair into the fan. The fan stopped but I couldn't comb my hair so now I'm missing a strand of hair that's really visible. I would suggest wearing this lower on your body and pulling your hair back into a ponytail if using outside when it's windy. I tried to pull the hair out of the fan but could only get a small amount so it stopped working. I'll take another one, but this time be a lot more careful! :)**************** This little fan really makes an impression! It has three speeds and they all keep me cool. The only minor issue is that it's a bit noisy when you go to medium and high settings. It takes 4AA batteries, but I haven't used them long enough to see how long they last. I have hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) on my face and scalp and summertime can be brutal for me. I bought it mainly for getting hot flashes, but I found another great use for it. Since I only have one fan in the attic at home, it gets pretty hot here at over 30 degrees. Combine that with my excessive sweating and it's terrible! As you can imagine, I have a hard time applying makeup after showering as my face and scalp sweat profusely. I have a constant fan that I always use, but that's not enough. I figured I'd hang this around my neck and see if it helps. It worked great! This kept my face and scalp dry so I had no problem applying makeup in extreme heat. I definitely recommend it to anyone taking a trip to a very warm place. Sometimes hotels only have air conditioning and it doesn't cool the bathroom, making it difficult to dry your hair or put on makeup because you're sweating too much. This is a great little fan that I've already found more uses for than I ever imagined!
