Review on 🔌 Gigabit Ethernet Bidi Media Converter - Single SC Fiber Connector, Singlemode, 1310-nm, 20-km Range by Sean Huff

I've ordered six (two packs) of this block and have used four pairs so far. One unit failed after about two months, the other unit could not replace the existing 10 year old 100Mbps media converter. The run was only 700 meters long. The same unit worked successfully at 3,000 feet. The other two devices were clean at 600ft and 5000ft. Cheaper device with little guarantee in the event of delivery problems. A low powered laser is likely to cause one problem (poor connection) and a cheap power supply is likely to cause a second problem.
