Review on Adjustable Stainless Release Straps by EACHE by Jon Estell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

"Bracelet " 18mm

This is a bracelet and I wanted it to look elegant. It's a "quick release" but it's not really the same as silicone quick release straps as these pins are in the strap and fall out when I try to attach it to my sports watch. Contains 4 pins, 2 different sizes, 2 fit, 2 don't. It takes time to change the group. I have an 18mm silver bracelet. My wrists are very small and this strap is perfect for it. I don't wear it when I shower. I washed my hands and some water splashed out but unlocked from below by pressing 2 sides of the latch and wiping my wrist and inner band. It doesn't sit on my Withings Steel HR charger when charging as the strap is designed as a bracelet. I tried lying face down on a towel and placing the charger on it, but it wouldn't charge in that position. To charge, the wrist-sized side had to be detached and separated from the other side, but the watch only needs to be charged every 25 days, so it's not a big deal. I am an older woman over 50 and the activity level may not be the same as strength training, not my thing. It's comfortable on the wrist and stays in place as the fit is pretty snug for me so it doesn't slip on the heart rate sensor. The strap itself is shiny, the clasp is matte. Overall I think the price was reasonable for the group. This was the first time I've changed a watch strap, and did so over a towel on the counter in case the pin should fall off so I don't lose as there were no more pins of the same size. I think there should have been extra pins of the same size, if you lose one you're done. Maybe 6 instead of 4, 3 of each size for a total of 6 pins. I will update the review if necessary.
