Review on 🔒 Schlage Lock FE285 CEN 619 LAT Century Front Entry Handle Lever, Latitude Interior Lever in Satin Nickel, 11.9 x 2.5 x 2.25 by Jonathan King

My wife recently asked me to replace all round door handles in our new home with levers for easier operation. That's the only thing I was concerned about, due to problems we had with a similar replacement in another house a few years ago. However, I had nothing to fear. This new handle just fell straight into the holes left over from the previous set of doors and only needed to drill a stop for the bottom screw. (In the previous set it was just a screw in the door, but in this set it's a bolt that goes all the way through the door.) Deciding exactly where to drill was easy as a template was included. In less than fifteen minutes everything was ready and working well. As this door set is a slightly different shape than the one he replaced I also had to touch up the paint to match the door but that was also very doable and the result looks just like a new door. The operation is very smooth and easy, and the brushed nickel finish is a perfect match for our electronic deadbolt for this door. Definitely recommended!
